Las Vegas

Yes, I know. This is super super late. We went to Las Vegas in like the end of July...haha but I do have some pictures that I want to share. :)
(I really don't remember the day) Delaney, McKenna, Kelsie, Matt, Aaron, and myself all went to Las Vegas for a couple days. We left around 5pm and went to get terry at his work. When we got to St. George we went to get something to eat (after like 20 minutes of trying to decide haha). We ate at the Pizza Factory! It was way yummy! Aaron met us there since he was already in St. George. After eating we drove the rest of the way to Vegas. We went to the condo for a little while and then headed over to Ceasers (not exactly sure how to spell that) Palace. After what seemed like endless walking we finally arrived at the cheesecake factory. And let me just say that lots of sugared cheesecake + one in the morning = very...er....scary Maddie haha. I was seriously laughing so dang hard at everything....it was most defiantly a bad deal. The next morning we went down to the swimming pool and lazy river to swim for a bit. After that we got dressed and headed to the Las Vegas Temple to do baptisms. That Temple is so pretty... it was such a great experience and it was good for me to see another temple other than the St. George temple (even though I do love that one very much!). We were real hungry after that so we went to Carls Jr. haha I'd never been there before so, I ordered not really knowing about the menu that much and ended up getting like the biggest burger they have. hahaha yeah...I don't really like to talk about it. (and in case you were wondering, I didn't eat the whole thing. ;)) I had lots of fun and I hope we get to go again sometime!

Haha Matt and Aaron were in my picture and I thought it was funny so I didn't make them move :)

I took this picture for Devin because this was about the time his obsession with nike was starting.

Hiking in The South Fork of Indian Canyon

You're probably thinking, "Where the heck is the south fork of Indian Canyon?" Well, it's kinda by the Sand Dunes. Actually, I think it's in the Sand Dunes. Haha but it's way cool! It's about two miles round trip. So, a mile each way. There are some way cool things to see on this trail, but the best part is the Indian paintings (Pictographs) at the end. There is this huge wall and is filled with paintings from Indians a really really long time ago. I had been there before with my brother, my dad, my dad's friend, and his kids. This time I went with my brother, dad, and my aunt Kariann. It was so much fun and I even have the pictures to prove it! :D

These two were actually at Lamb Springs.

Haha some dudes truck we found at the trail head. nice...

If you look really hard you can find 12 faces in this one. :)
Aren't they just adorable? :D

Love,
  Maddie :)

My Car!, a photo by maddiesun on Flickr.

Yep! It really is my car. My very generous grandparents gave it to me early for my birthday (may 30th). I'm super duper excited! (if you couldn't already tell).
The only bummer is that I can't drive it for another 49 days...yes i'm counting down. haha

Car rides, Pep band, and more snow!

In January, the youth in our ward went on a temple trip.(I totally forgot to take my camera out of the car. So...no pictures of the temple :( ) We had a great time. I love going to the temple! For lunch we ate at golden corral. It was sooo yummy! Afterward we headed home. That's when the camera came out! McKenna, Kim, and I decided to make some awesome faces.

After we got back from the temple, we decided to go to the football field and play in the snow that hasn't been touched. hehe:) It was pretty amazing.

Pep band is over for this year and I am very sad..I love it and I always have so much fun! (If you didn't know, I play the alto saxophone. It's pretty much the best instrument next to the piano and your voice. ) I managed to get a few pictures. :)

                                                                      Oh my trumpet buddies..

we love driving with McKenna! note: we were stopped at a speed bump when we took this :)

Let It Snow!!

Lately we've been getting a lot of snow and rain; we got about six inches of snow. At first it was really wet snow then it slowly turned into powder. Along with snow comes the COLD! The other night in Johnson Canyon it was negative ten and here it one or two degrees. Yeah so....cold, very cold. Last week Kim and I hung out at the Cowboy Classic. Some of our friends had gone sledding on a date that day and also, some other friends were talking about going and building a snowman. This inspired us! Haha, we went to my house, got bundled up, and went outside and had tons of fun! (Thanks to Kim I remembered to get my camera!)

                                                                       The Snowman!!!

Snow Angels! (Mine is on the left, and I bet you can't guess which one is kims! ;)

Blogging? Yes!

Yes, I am now a "Blogger". I have a "Blog".
I recently (for Christmas) received a new camera and decided that I would use it to take pictures and post them to a so-called "Blog". It should be fun and it's a great way for me to keep up on a journal of what I do and such. So yeah, here it goes! :)
